News

The electronic ticket sales platform "ZAIKO" (https://zaiko.io/), provided by ZAIKO Corporation (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo, Representative Director: Malek Nasser), has developed a platform where artists and fans can connect directly, centered around electronic tickets, based on the concept of the Direct to Fan (D2F) model, offering a service that prioritizes artists and event organizers in various ways. We are pleased to announce that we have invested in the U.S. digital live event distribution platform "Moment House" (https://www.momenthouse.com/).
"Moment House" is a platform service that connects communities of artists and creators through a ticketed global social event called "Moments," which was born in the U.S. in 2019. It delivers digital events from well-known artists who have received high support worldwide to provide special experiences for fans. To date, over 1 million tickets have been sold across 168 countries and 44 regions. This year, we served as the digital host for both days of the Grammy Awards pre-party hosted by Clive Davis, and we were also in charge of ticket sales for Justin Bieber's NYE live streaming. "Moment House" has secured $12 million in Series A funding, led by lead investor Forerunner Ventures. This funding has involved various investors, including UTA Ventures, actor and singer Tom Felton, Parcast co-founder and Spotify executive Max Cutler, and Clubhouse executive Aalti Ramamurthy.
With this investment in "Moment House," ZAIKO aims to strengthen collaboration between the two companies, promoting the dissemination of Japanese content overseas and the expansion of overseas content in Japan more than ever. ZAIKO will continue to develop multifaceted services focused on digital platforms that prioritize artists and organizers and will keep leading the new normal in the live entertainment industry.
■Message from ZAIKO CEO Malek Nasser
By collaborating with Moment House, which has created world-class digital events, we believe it will be possible to establish "paid live streaming concerts" as a foundation for entertainment worldwide. Moment House and ZAIKO share the common philosophy of connecting artists and fans while utilizing the latest streaming technologies and continuing to create monetization opportunities for creators.
