The "1 Billion Yen Cash Back Campaign" is a program that cashback 10% of ticket sales for event organizers who apply the new service "+Archive" which allows for three choices of archive viewing during the period from April 15 (Thursday) to July 15 (Thursday)※1. Additionally, if the same event's streaming video is provided for one year through ZAIKO's subscription service called "ZAIKO Encore", a further 5% will be added to the cashback amount※3.

In the past year, the live entertainment industry has rapidly digitalized, and fans have adopted more varied styles of viewing streaming events than ever before. Particularly for live streaming, fans are increasingly purchasing tickets for streaming live events with "archive viewing", allowing them to watch missed streams or their favorite scenes from the same event again, and having "archive periods attached to live streams" is becoming one of the new revenue models for organizers. Launched on March 31 (Wednesday), "+Archive" is a new service that provides fans with flexible ways to enjoy live streams while further promoting the secondary monetization of live streaming videos for organizers.

ZAIKO aims to contribute to the new revenue structures in the live entertainment industry by promoting the secondary monetization of live streaming videos through this campaign, which offers partial cashback for event sales to organizers who apply "+Archive".

※1 Even during the period, the campaign will end once the total cashback reaches 1 billion yen.

  The target is limited to ZAIKO-exclusive streaming events.

※2 The maximum cashback per event is 1 million yen.

※3 It will be limited to events selling more than 100 tickets.

■What is +Archive

By becoming a ZAIKO Encore member, you can enjoy streaming content more flexibly even after the live event. Artists and event organizers can sell tickets with extended archives of three different durations to accommodate fans' viewing styles by using "+Archive". In tests conducted during February with select events, 52% of ticket purchasers for "+Archive" applied events paid additional fees for tickets with extended archives. Additionally, ticket sales for events that applied "+Archive" increased on average by 13% compared to those that did not.

*Not all content will extend the archive period.

Until now, the methods for secondary revenue from live content for artists and labels were limited to methods such as releasing live recordings on DVD or posting to video streaming platforms, but by providing content to "ZAIKO Encore Theatre", a new revenue model can be established through secondary use of live recordings. In addition to the contractual fees for the videos posted, various incentives are also available for organizers utilizing ZAIKO.
