About us

Zaiko powers ticketing and streaming for live events worldwide, from intimate shows to arena tours. Operating as both a consumer fan app and a B2B platform for organizers, balancing the needs of both sides is central to the role.

Role overview

We’re looking for a Product Manager who’s confident working across product strategy and execution — someone who can translate customer needs and business goals into clear priorities and impactful product experiences across the Zaiko platform. You’ll work closely with designers, engineers, sales, operations, and leadership to define problems, shape solutions, and drive initiatives from concept through launch for both Japanese and global users.

This role is for a PM with solid experience who can balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution, taking ownership of products and initiatives while bringing teams together around a clear direction. You’ll play a meaningful role in shaping the product roadmap, improving the customer experience, and helping Zaiko continue to grow.

Responsibilities

  • Own the product roadmap for core platform areas, balancing fan and organizer needs:

    • Ticketing: sales, entry, and the organizer tools behind them

    • Livestreaming: the paid streaming product and its viewing experience

    • Native apps: iOS and Android

    • Fan clubs: subscriptions and membership

  • Partner with engineering and design to define requirements, review UX, and navigate tradeoffs.

  • Collaborate with client-facing teams to translate market feedback into impactful product features.

  • Engage directly with promoters and artist teams to inform product direction.

  • Define key metrics, set up PostHog tracking, analyze funnel performance, and iterate based on data.

Requirements

  • Track record of shipping consumer products at scale with demonstrated business impact

  • Decisive under ambiguity and effective at aligning cross-functional stakeholders

  • Ability to balance long-term platform investments with urgent client requirements

  • Proficient in self-serve product analytics and funnel optimization

  • Strong communication skills, capable of pitching ideas through wireframes, specs, or brief presentations

  • Business-level English; Japanese proficiency is strongly preferred for promoter and artist team interactions

Work style

  • Confident working cross-functionally with designers, engineers, sales, operations, leadership, and other stakeholders

  • Open to feedback and iteration while maintaining ownership of projects, decisions, and outcomes

  • Proactive, self-directed, and capable of prioritizing and managing multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and eagerness to learn

  • Comfortable communicating clearly with diverse stakeholders and driving alignment across teams

  • Comfortable coming into the office occasionally (about twice a week for team collaboration)

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with marketplaces, ticketing, or live entertainment

  • Background in a business with both B2C and B2B surfaces

  • Understanding of Japanese UI/UX conventions paired with global platform insights.

  • Business-level Japanese and/or Mandarin
